A big task for Omoluabi Giants who needed to ease pressures following a winless streak. United showed few flashes coming close on three occasions at half-hour mark, Afolabi Olatubosun, Paul Agbor and Essien Emmanuel nearly put the host infront as expectant fans demanded more precision and improvement at the break.

‘Believe And Achieve’ side restrategized after restart as Yemi Jacob and Ismail Ayodele replaced Adam Rasheed and exhausted Paul Agbor who was an improvised hitman.

United announced their dominance immediately as the visitors had to deal with pressures following dangerous moves with Dayo dropping behind the line but good defending from the visitors relieved the pressures in most occasions.

Big moment finally arrives thirteen minutes after restart as Essien Emmanuel was hacked following a well measured thread from Nwachukwu Friday who kept bossing the middle with series of dangerous flashes. Fullback, Mudashir Olamide stepped up and converted the resultant setpiece from 28 yards as FC One Rocket goalkeeper Philip Lordful was helpless in goal for the visitor.

FC One Rocket reacted quickly but United protected the slim margin untill the closing moments when Mudashir Olamide grabbed his brace two minutes from time in a similar fashion. Friday Nwachukwu agonizingly saw his effort rattled the crossbar as Omoluabi Giants refused Rocket to fly, in an evening to be cherished by fans.
