The vibrant spirit of handball enthusiasts converged as the 6th Annual Osun State 5-Aside Handball Championship 2023 kicked off in spectacular fashion! The tournament, dedicated to showcasing skill and sportsmanship, brings together over 10 handball teams, academies, and institutions from the entire South West Zone and Kwara State.
Among the distinguished personalities present at today’s events were Coach Shola, Retired Handball Head Coach, Mr Abiodun Oloyede, Registrar of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mr. Ajibise Oluwasegun, Head Coach of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, and Mrs. Ogunwole, Secretary of the Osun State Handball Association, among others.
The three-day extravaganza, set to culminate on December 20th, promises intense competition, camaraderie, and a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship. Teams battled fiercely on the first day, setting the stage for an exhilarating finals showdown.
