National Youth Games Southwest Zonal Elimination Playoffs: Ogun Acting GM, Expresses Satisfaction with Osun’s Preparedness

Osun State is gearing up to host the zonal elimination of team sports in the South-West, slated for later this month. This competition aims to select athletes who will represent the South-West in ball games at the National Youth Games, which will be held in Delta State this September.

After an inspection of the various sports facilities in Osun’s state capital, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Alade, the Acting General Manager of the Ogun State Sports Council, expressed her satisfaction with the facilities. After a thorough tour with Directors of Sports from the six Southwest states, Mrs. Alade speaking to our correspondence said, “What we have here is manageable. The facilities here are good, and some states don’t even have this sort of facilities. Although there’s room for improvement, it’s manageable.”
