The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 17 fixture between Enyimba FC and Nasarawa United originally scheduled for Saturday, December 14, was moved to Thursday, December 19, at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba, Abia State. However, it has now suffered another delay following a formal complaint by the Aba-based side to the league organizers.
The league organizers have yet to announce a new date for the encounter between the two sides—the Aba Elephants and the Solid Miners.
Meanwhile, Nasarawa United will shift their focus to their next NPFL fixture, where they are set to host Rivers United at the Lafia City Stadium on Matchday 18, scheduled for Sunday, December 22, 2024. United will go into that clash still with a game in hand.
The latest postponement raises concerns for the league schedule as teams juggle domestic commitments with continental competitions.
