Nasarawa United striker, Anas Yusuf, has emerged as the winner of the 2025 Eunisell Boot Award, following his remarkable feat of scoring 18 goals in the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The prolific forward will be honoured at a special ceremony scheduled to hold on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos. In line with the award’s tradition, Eunisell, West Africa’s leading specialty chemicals and oilfield solutions company, will present Yusuf with a ₦3.6 million cash prize — placing a premium value of ₦200,000 per goal.
The Eunisell Boot Award, instituted in 2018, has become a prestigious symbol of excellence in Nigerian football, recognising the league’s top scorers and amplifying the visibility of local talent. Past recipients include notable names such as Junior Lokosa (2018), Sunusi Ibrahim and Mfon Udoh (2019), Israel Abia (2020), and Chijioke Akuneto (2022).
Yusuf now joins this elite list, becoming only the second Nasarawa United player to win the award after Sunusi Ibrahim’s triumph in 2019. His stellar performance throughout the season earned him admiration from fans and stakeholders across the football community.
