“My Dream Is To Play For Super Eagles” – Heartland FC Safe Hands Chisom Chiaha

Heartland fc goalkeeper, Chisom Chiaha has revealed that his willingness to play for the Nigeria super eagles.

The born talented goalie who started his journey at a tender age was discovered by coach Emeka Amadi during his Secondary School days.

In order of merit, Chisom represented Nigeria at the U-17 National team and was part of the Squad that won the Under 17 world cup in Chile 2015 alongside Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Nwakali, Samuel Chukwueze, Lazarus John, Udoh Akpan among others, under the leadership of Coach Emmanuel Amunike.

The former Rangers fc and Nnewi United Goaltender later earned an invitation into under 20 national team in the year 2016.

Chisom is characterised by his superb shot stopping, agility, outstanding reflexes, composure, calmness, command over penalties and how he plays with feet between the sticks.

The 25-year-old joined the Owerri outfit, ‘Heartland fc’ in 2022/23 ‘NNL’ season where he won the best goalkeeper award following his sterling performances that helped his side gain promotion back into the elite league, having conceded just 5 goals from 97% games in charge in.

He has made 3 eye-catching penalty saves so far in the NPFL matchday 3 & 7 against Sunshine Stars and Rangers fc respectively.
He was also named NPFL Goalkeeper of the week twice.

“My dream is to play for Super Eagles, this has been my dream since I was a kid.

And I have been working so hard to achieve this feet.

I am ready to represent my country at the senior level whenever I’m been called upon.” He said.

Chiaha, is unarguably one of the best Shot-Stoppers in Nigeria league with most saves and could be the hero to solve the current Super Eagles goalkeeping crisis.

However, no one who has watched him perform with such consistency will go against this.
