Oriade FC Announces Key Leadership Changes: Sodiq Lasisi Promoted to General Manager, Adedokun Olayiwola Appointed as Team Trainer

Oriade FC Osogbo has made significant changes to its leadership structure, promoting long-serving head coach Sodiq Lasisi to the position of General Manager. In his new role, Lasisi will oversee the administrative duties of the club, while Adedokun Olayiwola Oluwaseyi has been appointed as the new team trainer to lead the players’ development on and off the pitch.

The announcement was made by the club’s team management.

CEO of the club, Mr. Olanrewaju Oluwafikayo Samuel, in an interview with Futball Naija Correspondence, emphasized that the changes were part of a strategic plan to propel Oriade FC to greater heights. “We are trying to build a formidable team, a team that can compete at the highest level,” Fikayo said.

Coach Sodiq Lasisi, who has been with Oriade FC for several years, brings a wealth of experience to his new administrative role. His promotion is seen as a positive step towards enhancing the club’s operations and long-term vision. “With his experience, I know he will help the team administratively,” he added.

Meanwhile, the appointment of Adedokun Olayiwola as the new head coach is expected to boost the team’s performance on the field. Olayiwola, a well-known figure in the Osun State football scene, will be responsible for organizing team practices, drills, match handling, and improving players’ understanding of the game. Mr. Fikayo expressed confidence in Olayiwola’s capabilities, saying, “He’s a household name in Osun State football, and with his experience, we can only expect good tidings from him.”
