The Flying Eagles’ resilience and tacticality were on full display Sunday night, as they rallied from a one-goal deficit to clinch a 3-1 victory over Niger Republic’s U-20 team in the semifinal.

Zubairu’s tactical adjustments were pivotal, driving the Nigerian side to secure their spot in the final against the Black Satellites of Ghana.

Speaking via a phone interview, he said, “I must congratulate the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Coach Aliyu Zubairu for a job well done.
