In preparation for the upcoming 2025/26 New Year Mega Lottery Nationwide League One (NLO) season, Ilesha-based AAYK Football Club has unveiled three newly-designed kits during a colorful ceremony held in Ilesha Grammar School, Osun State on the 17th of April, 2025.
The unveiling featured the club’s home, away, and third kits — a black and lemon design for home games, a bold red for away fixtures, and a toney red option as the third strip. The jerseys were designed by the branding department of AAYK Nigeria Limited Company and produced by leading indigenous sportswear manufacturer, Volt Kits.
Speaking at the unveiling event, Mr. Famomi-Banjo Ayomide Kolawole, CEO of AAYK Nigeria Limited, described the new jerseys as “unique, smart, and beautiful.” He emphasized the significance of the designs, particularly the home jersey, which proudly features the map of Osun State and Ijesha land, symbolizing the club’s strong roots and passion for regional representation in football.
“It’s more than just being an NLO side,” Mr. Ayomide said. “It’s about the passion to elevate our lower leagues and show that there is value in supporting grassroots football. The kits reflect the values of AAYK Football Club and our academy. They’re more than jerseys; they’re a symbol of identity and ambition.”
He further praised the in-house branding team for their innovative work and confirmed that the full range includes jerseys for training, management, coaching crew, and fans — now available for purchase in Ilesha, Osogbo, and Ibadan.
Highlighting the importance of supporting local enterprises, Mr. Ayomide added, “Another major aspect is that these kits were designed and produced here in Nigeria, which showcases the quality and potential of indigenous brands. We are proud of this and look forward to even greater partnerships with Volt.”
