In 2021, Simisola Feyishayo Awujo enrolled at the University of Southern California and joined the women’s soccer team. On September 5, 2021, she scored her first goal against the Western Michigan Broncos. Following her debut season, she received recognition as a member of the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. In her sophomore year, she was honored as an All-Pac 12 First Team All-Star and was also selected for the Academic All-District Team.

International Career
Simisola initially represented the United States at the youth level before making the decision to switch national associations and play for Canada. At 18 years old, she made her debut for the Canadian youth program in 2022 under the guidance of coach Cindy Tye.
