In her sophomore year, she was honored as an All-Pac 12 First Team All-Star and was also selected for the Academic All-District Team.

Simisola initially represented the United States at the youth level before making the decision to switch national associations and play for Canada. At 18 years old, she made her debut for the Canadian youth program in 2022 under the guidance of coach Cindy Tye.
