Osogbo, Osun State – In a significant move aimed at revitalizing sports in Osun State, the government has announced the constitution of management teams and the appointment of football coaches for both Osun United & Osun Babes Football Clubs.
This announcement, made on October 17, 2023, by the Deputy Governor and Commissioner for Sports and Special Needs, Prince Kola Adewusi, reveals the following key appointments:
Osun United Football Club:

- Akin Maxwel – Chairman
- Abimbola Rafiu – Community Relation Manager
- Femi Okenla – Marketing and Communication
- Kabiru Adekunle – Team Manager
- Oyewole Opeyemi – Secretary
Osun Babes Football Club:

- Mrs. Tola Usman – Chairperson
- Wole Animasahun – Team Manager
- Mrs. Ronke Ogunbanwo – Secretary
