Evolution Cup 2024: Ido Osun, Osun State based Nigeria Nationwide League One club, Hammola International FC will settle scores with two other top teams as they are set to participate in this year’s edition of Evolution Cup.
The pre-season soccer fiesta, meant for first class teams that will take part in the 2024 NLO 1 season is an annual event aimed at assisting participating clubs to be in good shape and scouting for additional quality players before the season begins. It is also an avenue for NLO teams to converge together, network and socialize in the spirit of sportsmanship.
“Lee Bombers” are one of the twelve teams to feature in the mini tournament, which holds at the prestigious Remo City Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State between 12th-18th February, 2024.

The 2022 Osun FA Cup Champions, Hammola FC, who recently acquired the services of workaholic Coach ‘Abedi’ are paired against Abraysports FC of Ilorin Kwara State and Mighty Jets Feeders of Plateau State in the group stage of the tournament.
Speaking on the preparation of “Lee Bombers” for the tournament, Team Coordinator, Mutiu Odeyemi popularly know as “MT Cash” said “we’re are going to this year’s edition with a strong team and to keep our boys fit for the league which kicks off in April. We’re not new to Evolution Cup. This is our third time of participating in it and we didn’t do badly in the previous ones.
“Evolution Cup has become the best annual pre-season soccer fiesta for topnotch NLO teams in Nigeria . Participating in it is not all about winning but an avenue to put the teams to test, with one another to know the areas of strength and weakness that can be worked on before the league begins. We salute organizers of the tournament and urge them to be fair to all teams,” said MT Cash.
According to the fixtures released by the organisms, Hammola FC will slug it out against Abraysports FC 10am 13th February, 2024 in the group stage opener before they face Mighty Jets FC 2pm on Valentine Day.
