Oriade Football Club, an Osogbo-based Nationwide League One (NLO) side, marked the festive season with a heartwarming visit to Abike Orphanage Home, Osogbo. In partnership with one of their sponsors, NIYAZBAM Multi Services Company Ltd, a prominent construction company, the team brought smiles to the faces of the children as part of activities lined up to mark the end of the year.
The club’s management, staff, and players donated gift items to the orphanage, lifting the spirits of the children through their heartfelt gestures. The visit forms part of a week-long series of events lined up by Oriade FC to celebrate the close of the year, culminating tomorrow at the Osogbo Township Stadium with novelty football matches and a fundraising event to support the club’s ambitions for the upcoming football season.
Receiving the team a member of the management in an emotion-laden speech though overwhelmed with joy appreciated the kind gesture of the club and pray that God in his infinite mercy will continue to uphold the club.
