Igbajo United FC head coach, Sule Isa Eroje, has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness ahead of their President Federation Cup Round of 64 clash against Rovers FC of Calabar. The highly anticipated encounter is set for Wednesday, March 19, at a yet-to-be-announced venue.

With both teams competing in the Nigeria National League (NNL), the match promises to be a fiercely contested battle. However, Eroje believes his side has what it takes to secure victory and advance in the historic tournament.
“We respect Rovers FC as a strong opponent, but we are fully prepared for the challenge ahead,” Eroje stated. “Our team has been working hard in training, and we are ready to give our best to make our fans proud.”
The President Federation Cup is one of Nigeria’s most prestigious club competitions, offering a pathway to continental football with a ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup for the eventual winners.
Igbajo United’s General Manager, Prince Adekunle Fakile, echoed Eroje’s sentiments, urging the team to remain focused.
“This is a great platform for Igbajo United FC to showcase our talent on a national stage. We are determined to make a deep run in the tournament and compete for the ultimate prize.”
With the club eager to make a statement in the competition, Igbajo United FC has called on its fans to rally behind the team. Further details, including the match venue and kickoff time, will be confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in the coming days.
